Project Description:

The Project comprises the construction of a New Passengers Building, including new state-of-the-art Operating System including main passengers building (basement and ground floor) with an area of 12,265 m². The Project also included the construction of new connection roads and the existing Assuit – Cairo West highway and all the associated utilities and infra-structure required to operate the buildings and the new roads including roads of total length of about 2 Km.

Project Description:

The major airport in Egypt and the primary hub for the national carrier Egypt Air. The airport is located to the north-east of the city around 15 km from the business area of the Capital through four technical parts

Part 1: All the civil works related to the construction of a new runway for the Cairo Airport including new Taxiways (one parallel, four threshold and four rapid exit taxi ways). Two connecting taxiways to the existing runway 05R/23L are including in the scope of works. The total paved area comprises of approximate 520 000 m² of heavy structure for aircrafts and 550 000 m² shoulders pavement construction. The civil works also includes the necessary service roads, drainage system, utilities, concrete works, airfield marking and fencing.

Part 2: All the electrical works including power supply and no break system; Airfield lighting system, control and monitoring system.

Part 3: All the building works related to the construction of a new fire station and a new electrical substation including architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing and HVAC works.

Part 4: All the Navaids and Meteo equipment works including supply, Installation and testing of the equipment and the associated civil and electrical works.
